Jaada's story

 
Jaada, born on April 14, 2005 is the fifth and youngest child of a Belmopan Garifuna family. Her father is a storekeeper and her mother is a store clerk. Baby Jaada was only two months when she was first diagnosed with a small Atrial Septal Defect. She is being monitored on an annual basis for possible spontaneous closure. In the meantime her mother does complain of frequent colds.
