Deidra's story

 
Deidra was born on November 25, 1995. She is the fifth of six children of a teacher and mechanic. She lives in Ladyville Village close to Belize City. This child was not recognized to have a cardiac condition until the age of 10-years old. She was confirmed with a diagnosis of Patent Ductus Arteriosus and had that defect closed in December 2006 by Dr. Amin in Omaha!
