 Neville's story
Of Creole ethnicity, this child born on November 4, 1994 resides in Camalote Village in the Western Cayo District along with his parents and two siblings. He was first diagnosed on September 22, 2005 after suddenly becoming gravely ill), with acute Mitral Regurgitation secondary to anterior leaflet prolapse. He was air lifted out of Belize shortly after and within three weeks on October 12, 2005 he underwent surgery at Tampa Children’s at St Joseph to correct this condition. He has been doing extremely well since with only insignificant residual issues.
